Pea Quick One Pot Pasta Ingredients

For 2 people you will need 200g pasta (penne or rigatoni recommended), 350g frozen peas, 50g Parmesan cheese, 1 small onion, salt, pepper and olive oil. You will also need a hand blender.

Delicious One Pot Pasta Recipe with Peas

Here’s how it works: For creamy pot pasta with peas, first chop the onion and sauté in a large saucepan over medium heat with a little olive oil.

After about 1 minute, add frozen peas, season with salt and pepper, cover and boil for 8 minutes. Keep stirring occasionally.

Now remove the pot from the stove for a while, get a hand blender and puree about half of the peas. If this is too confusing, you can puree half the peas from the pot into a bowl and then pour it back into the pot. No problem, but extra bowls need to be washed as well.

Put the pot of mashed and raw peas back on the stove, add the raw noodles, a pinch of salt in boiling water and 2 tablespoons of hot water.

Cover the pot again, stirring frequently, and add hot water if necessary until the pasta is cooked to al dente.
